My nursing license did me some good today. It was like a get out of jail free card, or in my case more like get out of an awkward explanation card.
At church I was sharing the hymn book with a gentleman on my right, because that's how i roll, and at the end of sacrament he said,
"I've noticed your nails are really short"
me: (uh oh)
him: "That must mean either two things, your either a nurse or a dental hygienist"
me: "Yeah your totally right, I'm a nurse!!!" (i dont have a nervous, gross, bad habit or anything like that)
I was in the clear
