Top 10 things I have to get used to living away from a college town

1. Children exist
2. Every store, restaurant,and grocery is not run by a monopoly of young adults ages 18-25
3. Just because a man at a store is wearing slacks and a button up shirt DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE A PROFESSOR
4. Most cars in the city do not have B parking stickers on them
5. There isn't an eruption of chaos and noise at exactly 700 every Monday night
6. People don't walk down the street holding hands
7. The sound of police sirens
8. Having the maximum speed limit be over 25mph
9. Everyone is in fact NOT Mormon
10. I'm actually rather quite young and not a menace to society for being single at 22

1. Rush hour is at 5, not midnight when everyone is trying to make it home for curfew.
2. You're not a bad person if you take at nap at 2pm on Tuesday afternoons.
3. Flip-flops are legal.
4. 2nd season american idol top ten finalists are not actually famous...although they are dang cute.
5. Putting peas and metamucel in your ramen noodles does not make it a balanced meal.
6. You are not a loser if you go to bed before midnight.
7. It's not safe to jump in a car full of boys just because they say they are going to the dunes.
8. Showing your ankles won't get you kicked out of the library.
9. 4 weeks is not in fact a long courtship.
10. There are not parties every night of the week...unless of course you moved into your parent's house in Vegas.
