Garfield - Garfield = Funny

I went through a majority of my life thinking that Garfield actually talked in his comics. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but Garfield has thought clouds, not verbal ones. Anywho, when I was younger the Hansen family would traditionally fight over the comics every Sunday morning to be the first to read them. Now we'd all rather eat dirt then look at them, BUT back in the day we LOVED them. Though, we never cared much for Garfield because it is the most awful piece of work that has ever existed, and for the life of all seven of us we could not understand why it always had a spot in the front page of the Funnys, for those are reserved for the funniest comics.  So with Garfield Minus Garfield, the creator takes out the cat and it's actually more funny.
